Welcome to St. Ann's
St. Ann Catholic Church welcomes Rev. JohnBosco Duraisamy as our new pastor! He is currently the pastor of Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Florence.
Father JohnBosco Duraisamy was in residence at the Basilica of Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Columbia, South Carolina in January 2019, and was the former chaplain for Providence Hospital in Columbia. He was appointed pastor of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Florence in January 2021.

Welcome to St. Ann's
St. Ann Catholic Church welcomes Fr. Sylvère Baloza-Baloza as our new parochial vicar! He will also be parochial vicar of St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Florence.
Fr. Sylvère Baloza-Baloza is a member of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM). He was born on December 3, 1970 in the Democratic republic of Congo (DRC) and studied at Université Saint Augustin de Kinshasa, in Mexico City. He professed his first religious vows on October 7, 1995 and was ordained to the priesthood on May 14, 2005, in Mexico City. He arrived in the Diocese of Charleston on November 16, 2016. He is coming to us from St. Peter’s in Cheraw (and St. Denis Missionin Bennettsville and St. Ernest in Pageland) where he previously served as Parish Administrator. Read more about Fr.
